Eat: Banana Boats

I saw this while watching an episode of Pioneer Woman, and I thought, I have got to try this sometime.

I stuffed mine with marshmallows, chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips, but the possibilities are endless.

It's not that pretty once you bake it, but it is quite tasty and would be perfect for a campout. If only I liked camping...

Banana Boats
from Pioneer Woman as seen on Food Network

ripe bananas
aluminum foil

and any combination of the following:
chocolate chips
mini marshmallows
caramel pieces
butterscotch pieces
crushed graham cracker
peanut butter
nutella
walnut pieces or other nuts

Cut a slit in each banana making sure not to go completely through the banana.

Fill the slit with your choice of yummy things.

Wrap the whole thing in foil.
Bake on a campfire, on a grill, or in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 20-30 minutes.
Unwrap and enjoy!
